IAEA - International Atomic Energy Agency

Last week, Cambridge AtomWorks was proud to participate in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)-GIF Workshop on the Safety of Non-Water Cooled Reactors. The workshop brought together regulators, research institutes, and technology developers to discuss the future of advanced nuclear safety.

Our Head of Regulatory Engagement, Andrew Steer, presented the latest on our ODIN microreactor. His presentation included our approach to demonstrating inherent and passive safety characteristics, the status of our design and development work, and our long-term deployment vision for ODIN in support of global clean energy goals.

We're grateful to the IAEA and the Generation IV International Forum for convening this important discussion. It’s through open, collaborative engagement that we can help ensure the safe and responsible deployment of next-generation nuclear technologies.
