Richard is an experienced transactions advisor and operating partner with a broad range of technical, commercial and accountings skills and able to apply an engineering mindset to analysing complex operating and technology situations.

Prior to Cambridge Atomworks he was a partner in EY's London based transaction advisory team. His prior career was spent working with Venture Capital and Private Equity investors for over 30 years. During this period he worked in Asia, the EU and the US across multiple industry sectors. He has extensive experience in the Energy & Utilities sector having worked on multiple oil & gas and electrical power generation / distribution / metering engagements.

He recently augmented an earlier degree in Software Engineering by taking a sabbatical to study select Nuclear Energy modules at the University of Cambridge.
