Dr Michelle Quien is a Materials Engineer researching coolant properties and material compatibility over the reactor’s lifetime. She earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, where she first worked with polymers and 0D nanomaterials, including academic research and industry experience in the medical device field. Then, she completed her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at MIT, where her research focused on polymeric nanomaterials and the development of novel characterization approaches, experimental and algorithmic, for complex, interdisciplinary materials systems.
