Luke graduated from Cambridge University with a Master's in General Engineering. He worked for 3.5 years on cutting-edge thermal simulations at Dyson in the electric vehicle space, including human thermal comfort simulation and demist/defrost simulation. He then became a major contributor to the design of the SSRW and FLEX reactors at Moltex over 5 years, leading the Thermohydraulics discipline, creating coupled simulation tools, contributing to safety case, planning V&V, and designing and carrying out experiments.
