James is a Chartered Accountant, he qualified with Grant Thornton one of the largest Accountancy firms. After qualifying he went on secondment to Australia for 2 years. He has spent the last 20 years working as Finance Director of small and medium sized companies in sectors ranging from food manufacturing to software development. He has significant experience of the full life cycle of young companies from raising finance through to successful exits. He is currently Finance Director of a number of young companies based in Cambridge.
