About Us
Cambridge Atomworks is the design authority for the Odin nuclear micro-reactor and is embedded within the Cambridge innovation ecosystem. We want to add to a high-calibre team based around high-performing and rounded individuals. Our new team members will have a profound understanding of their specialties in nuclear, materials science, thermal hydraulics and electricity generation technologies and an acute awareness of their intersection to participate in the design evolution. As we take the company forward, Cambridge Atomworks will require innovative engineering and manufacturing approaches across these fields to establish itself in emerging energy markets.

Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the office.  This is an exciting opportunity, ideal for someone eager to learn, grow and contribute to a growing business and small team of dynamic individuals. As Business Administrator, the successful candidate will be managing calendars, coordinating meetings with international clients, organising events, liaising with colleagues and contributing to a wide range of activities from HR and recruitment administration to organising hotel and travel arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and calendar support

  • Support event planning, including meetings and social events

  • Manage documentation, emails and confidential correspondence

  • Assist with the recruitment processes

  • Procurement and raising of purchase orders

  • Updating the website and social media platforms

Required Qualifications

  • Educated to A-Level standard/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent level of practical experience

  • Proficient in standard software packages e.g. Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook

  • Office based experience preferred but not essential
